I am going to make some ritual jewelry honoring the Goddess Hecate for her feast day on November 16 which incidently is my Birthday. After some research I found the following a list of stones that I want to use: Obsidian, Jet, Onyx, dark garnet and Dark Red Carnelian. I will also use some Amber. The following symbols are thought of as hers too…crossroads,keys,torches, gate ways, black dogs, black ewe lambs, cauldron, snakes all moon phases,graveyards and the three phases of women (maid, mother crone). Is there any other symbol that could be used as well? I am in the design phase of my project and working on sketches of what I want to do. My sons are hobby metal workers as my oldest is a sword and knife maker. Any suggestions?
